Why I Want A Moped

I want a moped and have been trying to save up money to get one for quite a while. The reason for this is because moped are safe, good for the environment, and cost-efficient. What I mean by mopeds being safe is that yes, technically they aren't fast enough to go on the high-way but they can be driven on the road and go at a moderate pace which means that you are less likely to get into an accident since you can't speed up too much. Mopeds are cost-efficient because they aren't as expensive as cars and don't waste as much gasoline. They also exude less fumes which means that they are healthier for the environment. And even though it might not seem like it mopeds are kind of cool... Seriously, a mode of transportation that makes you more independent, saves you a great deal of money, and is good for the environment how much cooler could it get? Yes, mopeds prevent you from giving rides to the rest of your friends and from driving on the free-way but you can do all of that when you are able to afford an actual car that will also come with some let-downs. Because nothing comes at price and there are always benefits and downsides to everything. Since not a lot of people realize how great mopeds can be the only two pictures of people around my age enjoying mopeds were of the cast of the movie Spring Breakers and a moped gang. I know that those aren't great ways to demonstrate the benefits of mopeds since one of the photos is of gang members and one is of the cast of a movie full of violence, drugs, and nudity. If more people realized how wonderful mopeds can be there would be more photos for me to show you. But because there aren't, the best thing to do is to view these photos as a means to appreciating mopeds and not to want to emulate the behavior of the people who are on them. After all, you have to admit that the mopeds do look pretty cool in both pictures.
