Accepting Your Premature Grey Hairs
My mom started to get grey hairs when she was still in her teens. Because of this it has always been a worry of mine that I too will start to get premature white hairs; especially because I am way too lazy to have to routinely dye my hair. That's why when I began to see that there was a trend going on where people dye their hair white or grey I was incredibly confused. I couldn't grasp my head around the idea that so many people would want to rush towards something that is bound to eventually happen. Yet, this trend is nothing new, there have been many times where people have died there hair white to be edgy or to represent wisdom.
However, now that this trend is coming back it is the perfect time for those of you who have premature grey hairs to finally come to terms with your hair color (or lack thereof). I know how difficult it can be, it's taken my mother nearly twenty years and a whole-lot of hair damage to accept that no matter what she does her hair will eventually start looking white again. Nearly everyone, but a few lucky people, is going to eventually experience this. Yes, getting premature grey hairs at a young age can be difficult to go through, especially because there a lot of ignorant and hateful people out there. But the thing is that no matter what you do, people are always going to judge you. Thus, those people who made fun of your grey hair are only going to find something new to make fun. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to change that. The point is that if you want to keep dying your hair to cover-up you grey hair, go ahead. If that will make you happier, then do it. But if you are tired of dying your hire then embrace your white hair and stop dying you hair. The only reason that all of these women are rocking their dyed, white/silver hair is because they feel beautiful in this hair color. True beauty comes from within, from loving and accepting yourself. No matter what you do there are always going to be people who judge you, so don't base your looks off of what others tell you. Do what makes you feel happy and comfortable with yourself.
