Embracing Who You Are
Especially in this political climate around many parts of the world it can be incredibly part to remain through to your origins when you can face a very real risk. However, hiding who you are is exactly what oppressors in this world want. Therefore, those of you have the privilege of being able to be yourselves, should strive to bring a voice to your specific community. As cliched as it may sound sometimes you have to be the change that you want to see in this world.

You Graduated College Now What?
I know from personal experience how exciting and overwhelming graduating college can be. On the one hand graduating college can be a wonderful experience full of pride, joy, and even relief. However, on the other hand, you know that gone are the days where walking around in sweatpants and slippers were acceptable wardrobe choices, and people could hardly differentiate if you were hungover from a caffeine and sugar infused all-nighter, or from a night of partying away your stress. Almost instantly responsibilities seem to get heavier, and the choices you make seem to have the ability to completely alter your career and life. As overwhelming and scary as this can feel, all those cliches people say are true. The world can be your oyster now, where you are free to do anything you chose to do. For example, you can one of those people that decides to travel the world and continue to put off your responsibilities a bit longer if you choose to (after all you earned the right to do that). Or you can apply to grad school abroad if that better suits you. You can be like me and sleep as much as possible, while meticulously applying to as many jobs as possible. Maybe you're one of those people lucky enough to get a job straight out of school. Or maybe you incurred a lot of debt in college and decided to work in a job not directly related to your career. There is no shame whatsoever, in doing what you know is best for you. It is true that other people will want to give you their opinions about what you should do, but YOU graduated college. You deserve to do whatever you feel is best for you because you were able to accomplish something that not everyone can do. Regardless what anyone says, we know that graduating college is no easy feat. This is your moment, go out there and slay.

Pixie Cuts That Will Make You Rethink Growing Out Your Hair
I remember always being curious about having a pixie cut, and five months ago I decided to finally go for it and cut my hair. When I cut it, I really did love it. However, I love switching up my style and got bored of having short hair rather quickly. I have been growing it out and all I can say is that it is a long painful process. It has been five months and even though my hair is much longer than it once was, it is nowhere near to being even close to a bob. There are days when I go back to loving my short hair and days when I want nothing more than to at least have shoulder-length hair. Today happens to be one of the latter days. Because of this I decided to post some of the inspiration behind why I decided to cut my hair in the first place, and hopefully this will help me get rid of my current longing for having instantly long hair.
Summer Internship Outfits
This summer I was offered an internship at an amazing nonprofit organization and so far I am loving it. However, I live somewhere where it gets up to more than 100 degrees and as such I did initially struggle to find appropriate office attire that is functional for the weather here. Luckily, I realized that there are several different stores around me that offer business-wear attire that manages to stay cool during high temperatures. For example, many of the blazers here are made out of satin which means that they are comfortable and stay cool without losing any formality. Nonetheless, other than satin blazers there are several different ways to keep cool and maintain a professional demeanor that I have included in this post. Obviously, the type of attire that you can wear to your internship varies, so remember to keep in mind what you see others in the office wearing and to pay attention to the dress code.
